Michael Mroczek is a Swiss lawyer practicing law in Tokyo, Japan. He is a foreign law partner at Nozomi Sogo and an expert in international arbitration in Japan. As a Swiss attorney, admitted to practice law in Switzerland (2008), Michael has been registered as a foreign lawyer (gaikokuho-jimu-bengoshi) in Japan with the Tokyo Bar Association (2014) and registered as an EU lawyer with the Warsaw Bar Association (Poland, 2013). With significant expertise in international arbitration, Michael not only represents parties in arbitration proceedings, but also acts as an arbitrator. His contributions to the field have also led him to lecture on international arbitration at the University of Tokyo Law School, shaping the future leaders in law. Outside of his arbitration responsibilities, Michael's multifaceted career involves serving as a director of the board for various companies in the sectors of technology, fashion, and finance in and outside of Japan. He is also the president of the European Business Council in Japan (EBC), reinforcing economic relations between Europe and Japan.
